Global Village, Miracle Garden and Safari Park: Here’s when Dubai’s popular outdoor destinations will reopen
Summer closures give way to new seasons this year
DUBAI – Dubai’s biggest seasonal outdoor attractions are preparing to return as the emirate heads towards its cooler months, with several popular destinations currently closed for their summer break.
Here are the major Dubai attractions that are currently closed and preparing to reopen.
Global Village
Global Village has officially confirmed that it will return in October 2026 for Season 31, following the conclusion of its 30th season. Its official website lists Season 31 as running from October 2026 to May 2027.
The attraction closed after its latest season and is currently preparing for its return. However, the exact opening day has not yet been announced.
Season 31 will once again bring together international pavilions, shopping, dining, entertainment and attractions, with Global Village describing its offering as a celebration of cultures from around the world.
The official platform is currently telling visitors to expect the attraction back in October, making it the clearest confirmed reopening window among Dubai’s major seasonal destinations.
Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park has officially confirmed that Season 8 will open in October 2026.
The wildlife park in Al Warqa 5 is currently closed for the season, with its official website stating that tickets and experiences will become available ahead of the new season.
The park’s previous Season 7 ended on June 22, 2026, after which it shut for the summer period. Now the attraction is expected to return later in the year for its eighth season.
When it reopens, visitors can expect six wildlife zones and more than 3,000 animals, including species from Africa, Asia and the Arabian Peninsula. The park also features safari journeys and animal encounters.
The new season follows a notable year for the park, which recorded the arrival of 144 newborn animals during Season 7.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Dubai Miracle Garden is currently closed for its summer renovation, with preparations under way for its next seasonal opening.
Unlike Global Village and Dubai Safari Park, the garden has not announced an exact reopening date. The attraction normally operates from late September or October through April or May, while its current season update says the garden is expected to return in October.
The garden concluded Season 14 on May 31, 2026, and is now undergoing its annual summer transformation ahead of the next season.
The attraction in Al Barsha South 3 is known for its large-scale floral displays and themed installations featuring millions of flowers. Its official information confirms that it operates seasonally, closing during summer for maintenance and replanting.
